Hello everyone, and welcome back to St. Helens ShoutOuts.

You may have noticed that things have been a little quiet here over the last 12 months. Unfortunately, due to some personal health challenges, I had to put the page on hold for a while.

Whether you've been following us from the beginning or you've only just discovered us, thank you for being here.

Thankfully, I'm now in a position to bring it back, and I'm really looking forward to starting this next chapter together.

Like many towns across the UK, St. Helens has faced its share of challenges over the years. Many of us remember when the town centre was bustling, local shops were thriving, and there was always something happening. Times have changed, and there's no point pretending otherwise.

But that's not the whole story.

Every day across our borough, local businesses are opening their doors, volunteers are giving up their time, charities are supporting families, community groups are bringing people together, and ordinary people are doing extraordinary things.

Those are the stories that don't always make the headlines.

Those are the stories we want to tell.

St. Helens ShoutOuts is here to celebrate the people who continue to make a positive difference in our community. Whether it's a family-run business, a local charity, a sports club, a school, a volunteer, or simply someone who's gone out of their way to help others, we believe they deserve recognition.

This page isn't about pretending everything is perfect.

It's about shining a light on the people who are working hard to make our town an even better place.

If we can help one local business attract a few more customers, encourage people to support a local charity, or simply make someone smile by recognising the good they're doing, then we'll have achieved something worthwhile.

Do You Know Someone Who Deserves a ShoutOut?

If you know a local business, charity, community group or individual making a positive difference, we'd love to hear from you.

Send us a message and help us celebrate the people who make St. Helens special.

Thank you for being here, and welcome to the next chapter of St. Helens ShoutOuts.

Let's celebrate the people who make our community stronger.
