St Mary’s Market will host Craft Fairs on 5 and 19 September, giving local makers and traders another opportunity to showcase handmade goods in St Helens.

From 3 October, the Craft Fair will run every Saturday through to 19 December, offering shoppers regular opportunities to support local independent traders.

 

The International Festival of Glass comes to St Helens from 28–31 August, with The World of Glass serving as the main festival hub for exhibitions, demonstrations, talks and community events.

The programme will also celebrate the town’s glassmaking heritage, with local venues taking part, a community glass mosaic, heritage tours and accessible British Sign Language events.

St Helens & Districts CAMRA is bringing back its Festival of Pubs this August, with events taking place across St Helens and the wider district.

The month-long programme will include live music, pub quizzes, cider tasting, Meet the Brewer sessions, a murder mystery trail and the annual Pub Treasure Hunt, while also supporting Willowbrook Hospice.
